"The third and final entry in the Professor Layton DS trilogy, Professor Layton and the Final Time Journey, hit Japan Thursday morning. You wouldn't expect Level-5 to let the game drop without some buzz, and sure enough, the developer/publisher generated quite a bit of buzz through a commemoration press event on Wednesday night in Tokyo.

The big news to emerge from the event concerned a non-gaming offshoot of the franchise. Professor Layton The First Movie, the animated film that was announced just prior to the Tokyo Game Show, is scheduled for a New Years 2010 release in Japan, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino revealed. The Japanese version of the film will feature the same voice cast as the game, with Yo Oizumi as Layton and Maki Horikita as Ruke.

While not mentioned by Hino, international fans of the series can probably expect the movie to be localized for their territories. Hino revealed at the event that the first entry in the series has shipped a total of 830,000 units in North America, Europe and Korean markets.

This is nothing compared to the full Japanese shipment totals for the series, though. The first two games have managed a total of 1.75 million units. The third game saw a first shipment of an amazing 700,000, bringing total shipments for the series in its home territory to 2.45 million.

Taking the stage at the press conference, Hino suggested that the third entry may appeal to broader audiences due to an adjusted difficulty and the inclusion of "furigana" readings for kanji. Puzzle supervisor Akira Tago was also in attendance with good news for fans of the series: all puzzles in the third game are new."

Spoilerfuck

Me acabo de comer tremebundo spoiler del tipo que siempre trato de evitar sobre Batman #681 (osea, el final de RIP), que teniendo en cuenta que sale hoy a la calle estaba esperando que llegara a un servidor de descarga near me no dentro de mucho. Se me cago el fin de semana.

Hoy es miercoles, nada que ver, esto de no tener clases me hace pensar que siempre es viernes o algo asi, aunque solo parece que funcionara para quejarme cuando algo malo me pasa pensando que se me cago el fin de semana. Tengo que estudiar.

Autocritica constructiva: empezar a manejarme mejor con esto de las entradas, elaborarlas un poco mas o algo, porque (<- tampoco se cuando esto va separado o junto) sino este blog va a terminar lleno de entradas pequeñas y breves sobre pelotudeces que me pasaron durante el dia, aunque, nose, capaz que esa es la intencion.

Pobre Batman.

Ayer a las 5 am (osea.. hoy) esa escena hizo que valiera la pena sacar los dvds con peliculas descargadas que nunca se me dio por ver.

High Pitched Noise

A mi nintendo ds le vino la maldicion del high pitched noise, que podria considerarse el equivalente a las RROD en mucha, mucha menor escala.

Consiste en que de la pantalla inferior sale un sonido en una frecuencia tan alta que parece que viajara directamente desde mis oidos hasta mis testiculos.

Se dice que es una frecuencia que algunos oidos no pueden detectar, y hay gente que al parecer no escucha un pomo en el video que voy a embedear aca abajo (se necesitan auriculares), los envidio.



Esta entrada funciona como llamado de ayuda, si alguien tiene idea de como arreglar esto o si le paso algo parecido que se contacte conmigo, aunque despues de googlear y googlear al parecer la unica solucion era devolverlo en garantia y conseguirse uno nuevo sin el problema.

Moraleja: no compren usado.

Lo que faltaba

un blog.

Todo el mundo tiene un blog, desde que consegui mi acceso a la serie de tubos conocida como internet vengo leyendo blogs, siguiendo blogs, encontrando blogs, asi que, porque nunca me habia hecho uno ?

Llegue a darme cuenta que por 4 razones:

- No tener nada que escribir
- Carecer de la habilidad necesaria para escribir algo de forma que genere interes
- Verguenza por revelar aspectos de mi vida privada
- A pesar de no tener muchas faltas ortograficas no tener la mas puta idea de donde van los tildes


Bueno, time to move on, se que probablemente nunca mas vaya a actualizar esto (y en caso de que lo haga, no creo que nadie vaya a leerlo), pero al menos ahora tengo un perfil para postear comentarios en entradas de otros blogs que me interesan, y estoy un paso mas afuera del geek closet.
